Hi there 👋

I’m Timur, a photography enthusiast based in Berlin. I try to always carry a camera with me to document my life and the unusual moments that happen around me.

While I understand the convenience of digital photography, shooting film brings me so much more joy. With my DIY mindset, I develop both color and monochrome film at home, scan everything myself and create silver gelatin prints in the tiny darkroom that I built in my apartment’s storage room.

As a software engineer, I love applying modern technology to solve old problems in analog photography or to optimize existing workflows. In my blog, I share my personal notes, experiments, and learnings.
